  • Good Girl Edna!

    She woke up at around 7.30am in the previous 3 mornings! Thus, we can carry her and say goodbye to her before going to work! She laughs (opens her mouth) when hearing our voice. Caleb, father and I will say "good morning" to her and then she will move her body...indicating either of us to carry her out from bedroom to living room!

    Ha ha...however, due to Caleb's presence....she cannot sleep very well in daytime. She is very sensitive to Caleb's voice. If it is we are talking, she may not wake up so fast, but when Caleb talks (no matter it is a sentence only or a long conversation) or plays, she will definitly wake up! Seems like she likes to get involve in what her brother's doing at home! Or may wonder why Caleb stays at home all the time in this whole week!

  • Poor Caleb!

    Caleb's school has only Easter Holiday from 21th to 24th March which is same as bank holiday. However, due to the threat of recent cold/flu, Caleb needn't back school started from 13th. While so bad that I've already started working on 10th. Poor Caleb, he is so bored staying at home! Since Edna is still too young, "bo bo" (from Mon to Wed) and ah "sze" cannot bring them out. While "bo bo" doesn't know how to play with Caleb, he can only play on his own and sometimes play with ah "sze" if she has free time (needn't feed Edna or Edna doesn't cry or she is sleeping)..... Although I cannot access webcam from office, I can still read the photos/movie being sent from the webcam.... seeing him playing alone/lying down on the sofa.... he is truly boring and I'm so uncomfortable to see it lar! Luckily enough, "e e" will come on Thu/Fri at around 1pm and he is so happy to play with her. Also, "ma ma" will come for 2-3 hours from around 10am to 1pm on Thu/Fri and Caleb likes to play with "ma ma" too (coz "ma ma" knows how to play with him)....

    To be honest, after having Ho Ching, I really don't want to work! Ha Ha, miss them so much!

    Hope normal school day resume very soon lar!

  • 1st week - 5 'bloody working days'

    Back to work for a week lar!...Sigh...中招. Got sore throat and coughing....maybe due to the air-con system in office; also, being transmitted by my colleague sitting next to me....sigh!... I'm so worried that I will transmit to Caleb/Edna..thus, in the previous 3 nights, I wore mask. Except having meals, I wore the masks for the whole day! Hope I can recover very soon and they both stay strong and don't get sick! Otherwise, I will be "so worried to die!"

    One of Caleb's "door teeth" was broken 2 months ago when he ran and fall down at home....dental surgeon suggested 2 methods : 脫掉or杜牙根. For option 1, we highly not recommended since Caleb will be very unhappy and we afraid that his schoolmates will laugh at him.... For option 2, the operation time is around 10-15 mins and most importantly, the procedure is similar to 補牙 and we do afraid that Caleb cannot do it and will move or scream during operation. We've talked with him for a long time and told his teachers as well. At last, Caleb said he doesn't want to 脫牙 and want to 杜牙根. U know....i of course go with him...but during the whole operation, except holding his right hand, he never moved and stayed so stable and calm! I'm so proud of him and so do the dental surgeon. She said there should be some pains at some points but Caleb's performance is unbelievable! Wow....he's so happy to keep the "door teeth" now!!!

    For Edna, I insisted to feed her last milk at around 10.30pm as Caleb is very cooperative (slept at 10pm). As she is approaching 3-month-old, I used the previous '咩dai' when going out, the feeling is so warm and sweet.....she will sleep very nice and good, especially travel on bus with continuous up & down and move left and right!!!

  • 3rd working day -

    Edna is very cooperative, since her 1 1/2 month old, she stopped drinking milk at nite and reduce the no. of milk-feeding from 8 times to 5 times in her 2-month-old. Now, she drinks at around 6am, 10am, 2pm, 6pm, 10.30pm with 170ml (nearly 6oz) per milk. After drinking milk, she will normally sleep for an hour and then play time (she likes to play and talk with "sze").... on & off, she will sleep for 20-30 mins in-between at daytime...while will not wake up at nite.

    It is so wonderful that she is so discipline at this early stage on the one hand; however, the side effect is I cannot play with her in the morning and say goodbye to my dear daughter before going to work.... That means from 11pm evening till another day's 7pm evening when I back from work, I cant talk with her!.... I've only 4 hours talking with / playing with / carrying her! That's why I insisted to take bath for Edna in the evening, and am managed to feed her either in early morning at around 6am or the last milk at 10.30pm... however, truly depended on Ho Yeung's situation!... Early milk at 6am - I cant get up so early coz very sleepy... while the last milk at 10.30pm - I am always being occupied by comforting Ho Yeung to sleep.....

    Today, I can play with Edna in this morning before going to work! She woke up at 6.20am and when we got up at 7am while she's still drinking the milk.... however, after she saw us, she doesn't want to drink anymore and kept smiling with us.... Leaving nearly 3oz (80ml) not yet drunk! And we played till we left....when we're about to wear the shoes and left, she fell asleep!

    Little Edna, ma ma miss u so much.
